The annual rate of inflation in the Eurozone has risen to another record high this month.
Eurostat reports a point 2% rise across the 19 countries. bringing the rate to 9.1%.
Energy costs continue to be affected most, but food inflation has also seen a significant rise.
Ireland’s annual rate sits at 8.9%, down from 9.6% last month.
Economics lecturer at University College Cork, Seamus Coffey, says Ireland isn’t the worst affected:
