The NoWDOC GP Out of Hours Service is still experiencing a high volume of calls this Bank Holiday Weekend.
In a statement, the HSE says the service is currently very busy and has apologised for longer waiting times, asking users of the service to be patient.
It comes after Saolta earlier this week said Letterkenny University Hospital was also facing significant pressure due to a large number of people presenting at the Emergency Department.
