Cannabis is the most common drug causing people to seek addiction treatment in Donegal.
The figure doubled from 2007-2011 to that of 2017-2021, where 330 cases presented.
Adolescent Addiction Psychiatrist Dr Bobby Smyth says the casual attitude towards the drug worries him as a doctor.
