Donegal County Council is being urged to secure funding to provide a footpath in Milford as a matter of urgency.
Councillor Pauric McGarvey has raised concerns over the absence of adequate infrastructure on the route from the Lagg area to Lidl in the town.
A previous funding application for works was unsuccessful.
