Demand for houses in Donegal rose 17% in April and May

The demand for homes in Donegal last month was up 17% on the same month in 2022 according to analysis published this morning by Daft.ie.

That figure is in line with the national increase.

The regional analysis shows that in terms of the specific demand for new homes, Connacht-Ulster saw the largest demand growth at 110%, followed by Leinster at 75% and Munster at 69%.

Adam Ferguson is Chief Commercial Officer with Daft.ie.

He says while demand is growing in Donegal, supply is flat, and that could lead to further price rises.………..
