3 people were rescued yesterday evening at Maghera Strand.
Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked at quarter past 7 by Malin Head Coast Guard to a report of 3 persons & their dog stranded on rocks after being cut off from the shore by the incoming tide at Maghera strand.
The 3 persons were rescued from the rocks by the Arranmore RNLI.
The lifeboat crew took the 3 persons to Portnoo pier and the Killybegs Coast Guard team then returned them to their car.
