The Letterkenny Christmas Light Switch On takes place this evening in Donegal.
A number of parades took place throughout the county today with the Christmas lights to be turned on at 6pm this evening in the Market Square in Letterkenny.
The event is supported by Donegal County Council and there will be music and dancing to kick off the holiday season.
