A Donegal woman has been found murdered in Scotland.
61-year-old Ann Coll, who was originally from Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) in West Donegal, was found with serious injuries at a flat in Rutherglen, near Glasgow, just after midnight on Friday morning.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they are treating the death as a murder following the results of a post-mortem examination.
Police Scotland’s Detective Chief Inspector Lynsey Watters says they are providing the family with support at this time.
