There were 40 admitted patients awaiting beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, 20 of them in the Emergency Department.
That’s a rise of 12 on yesterday’s figure.
Letterkenny was the fourth most overcrowded hospital in the country this morning after Limerick, Cork and Galway.
Nationally, there were 603 people awaiting beds this morning.
