A car was seized in the Ballybofey area in the early hours of this morning after it emerged the vehicle’s tax expired 1,390 days ago.
Gardai say there was nothing displayed on the windscreen so they will now make further enquiries in relation to NCT and insurance.
Motorists are being reminded to never take to the roads unless documentation is up to date and displayed as required.
