491 patients are waiting on trolleys in hospitals today, with Letterkenny University Hospital the third most overcrowded.
The INMO’s Trolley Watch shows 357 of those are in emergency departments, with the remainder in wards.
University Hospital Limerick remains the worst-affected with 107 patients waiting for a bed – followed by Galway with 56, and Letterkenny with 42.
