€4 million has been allocated to Donegal County Council under the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund to see the remediation of vacant and derelict properties.
It’s from a national total of €142.5 million across all 31 local authorities.
In Donegal, 46 properties have been approved to date with an estimated 141 properties to be provided through the scheme.
