4,787 students in Donegal have begun their State exams today.
Both leaving cert and junior cycle students turned over English Paper 1 at 9.30am this morning.
1,961 pupils in Donegal have begun their Leaving Cert exams with 216 undertaking Leaving Cert Applied.
Meanwhile, 2,610 children have started their Junior Cert exams.
