Pharmacists can do more, but require government support – Murray

Almost half of the population are visiting their local pharmacy every week.

A recent survey of over 2 thousand people by the Irish Pharmacy Union found 51 per cent visited a pharmacy in the last 7 days and 88 per cent in the last month.

It comes as IPU members step up their campaign for increased payments, saying the amount they are paid for work done on behalf of the state hasn’t increased for 16 years.
