The N56 Bruckless Road outside Dunkineely has reopened to traffic.
It was closed last evening after a collision involving two cars and a van at 5.40pm.
A woman in her 70s is seriously ill in Sligo University Hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the van, a man, aged in his 30s was brought to Letterkenny University Hospital with less serious injuries.
