Finn Valley AC’s Sinead McConnell took a superb silver medal at the World Masters Championships in Gothenburg this morning.
Sinead clocked 56:16 in the 10k race walk for W55 silver.
She was beaten to gold by Michelle Rohl, a three-time Olympic race walker with the United States in 1992, 1996 and 2000 and a multiple Pan American medallist.
