Cricket: Sammy Jeffrey Shield Final postponed until further notice

The Sammy Jeffrey Shield Final between St Johnston and Strabane has been postponed until further notice due to the adverse weather conditions.

The match, which was originally scheduled to be a two-inning match played over Friday and Saturday, was postponed until this morning (Sunday).

After being affected by the weather yet again, it was controversially decided that the game would be decided via a bowl-out at Strabane Cricket Club this afternoon.

That plan also went by the wayside when the umpires deemed it too wet to hold a bowl-out.

The game has now been postponed with further updates expected during the week.
