A woman was hospitalised yesterday evening after being seriously injured in an incident in Raphoe.
It is understood that she was struck by a piece of debris that fell from a historic building in the Diamond area at around 5.15pm.
Emergency services attended the scene and the woman was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Gardaí say enquiries are ongoing.
