Tanaiste Simon Harris has been given approval from the Cabinet to begin drafting the Occupied Territories Bill.
However, the scope of the Government’s version will only cover goods – not services.
It comes as Israel’s efforts to allow a small amount of aid into Gaza have been described as ‘cynical optics’ by Unicef.
