Trump’s 100% pharma tariff to causing concerns for Irish companies

A new 100% tariff on branded pharmaceutical imports entering the US is set to take effect next week.

Donald Trump has announced the move, saying it will impact any company that is not building a manufacturing plant in America.

He’s also placed a 50% levy on foreign kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity units, and a 25 percent levy on heavy truck imports to the US.
