Letterkenny University Hospital was the second most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today, joint with St. Vincent’s University Hospital, with 32 admitted patients on trolleys.
According to the INMO figure watch, at LUH, 7 patients were in the Emergency Department while 25 were located in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded with 89 people waiting for a bed.
