The Social, Gaoth Dobhair, has been awarded €12,000 in funding to showcase emerging musical talent.
The Grassroots Music Venues Support Scheme supports the work of the Night-Time Economy Taskforce.
Announcing the funding, Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan, says venues such as The Social play a vital role in nurturing emerging musicians and providing them with an opportunity to hone their talent.
