Motorists are being advised that Windy Hall Road in Letterkenny will be closed from today, until Wednesday for essential roadworks.
Local access will be maintained where possible, and sections of the road will reopen as works are completed to allow through traffic, especially over the weekend.
Diverted traffic should follow Kilmacrennan Road to Circular Road to Glencar Road, while local traffic can use Long Lane, which will also reopen as sections of the road are completed.
