€1.7 million has been paid out to Donegal farmers under the third year of the SCEP scheme.
A total of 752 beef farmers in the county have benefited from the scheme.
The Department of Agriculture says farmers can expect the money to arrive in their accounts in the coming days.
They are also urged to submit any outstanding documentation to the Department or to the Irish Cattle Breeding Federation as soon as possible so that any remaining payments can be processed.
