RNLI Bundoran urge vigilance after beach incident

RNLI Bundoran are urging that people continue to be vigilant, especially on days were there are large waves that can push 50- 100m past the shoreline and catch people out.

This is after a serious incident at Bundoran main beach yesterday involving a mother and child getting caught by a surge of waves.

Local resident, Alan Clancy was able to enter the water and recover the child and mother.

He gave an account of events on today’s Greg Hughes Show:
