
Capital Funding of €230,495 has been approved for Coláiste Bhríde in Ranafast.
This has been announced by Minister for the Gaeltacht Dara Calleary which will be used to carry out essential renovation and fire-safety work.
This funding has been sanctioned under the Community and Language Supports Programme and will contribute up to 50% of the approved project cost.
The programme supports Gaeltacht committees in developing and upgrading community and language facilities.
A contractor has been formally awarded the project, with commencement anticipated within the next month.
Speaking following the announcement, Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher said, “The planned renovation and fire‑safety improvements will ensure that the college continues to provide a safe, modern, and welcoming environment for students from across the country.”
