One million euro is being set aside by the Breakthrough Cancer Research for a cross border project aimed at improving pancreatic cancer outcomes.
The announcement comes on World Cancer Day.
Its hoped the funding will help improve the early detection of pancreatic cancer, leading to better survival raters.
