During the first month of this year 6,165 cars in Donegal went through an NCT test.
3,126 cars passed while 2,656 failed major and 383 failed dangerous.
The number of tests is an increase on January 2025 when 5,218 cars took the test.
During that month 2,434 passed with 2,397 failing major and 387 seeing a dangerous fail.
