Flooding concerns raised in Dáil over River Finn levels


The Dáil has heard concerns over rising levels in the River Finn, leaving the Finn Valley area vulnerable to flooding.

Deputy Charles Ward raised the issue in the chamber yesterday, with particular focus on the Twin Towns.

He said flooding has been a recurring problem since the 1960s, yet the Stranorlar–Ballybofey Flood Relief Scheme remains at the planning and design stage.
