Uisce Éireann has announced that works will be taking place in Ardara as part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme.
They say in the coming days, 175 metres of ageing water mains in Ard Chonaill will be replaced, which is aimed at strengthening the reliability of the local water supply and reducing leakage.
Traffic management will be in place during the works, and some short‑term water outages may be required.
Uisce Éireann projects these works to be completed in early summer.
