People are being warned of new online scams offering accommodation to members of the public.
The Department of Housing says the scams are purporting to be from ‘Housing For All’ or ‘Ireland’s Housing Plan’.
The Department is reminding people it does not engage directly with the public about accommodation provision and never seeks personal details.
Anyone who is approached by an entity pretending to be from the Government and seeking details or payment is urged to report it to the Gardaí.
