There were 46 admitted patients without beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, 17 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
That was the second highest figure in the state, after Limerick with 106. There were 44 admitted patients without beds in Sligo, the third highest figure in the state, giving a North West total of 90.
In total, the INMO says there were 564 admitted patients in unsuitable locations across the country this morning.
