Boil water notice remains in place for Culdaff over 2 months on

Uisce Éireann is reminding customers on the Culdaff Public Water Supply that a Boil Water Notice remains in place, over 2 months after the notice was originally imposed.

The Boil Water Notice was issued in February following elevated turbidity levels which affected the treatment process at Culdaff Water Treatment Plant.

Approximately 1,300 customers on the supply are affected, including customers of the Three Glens Group Water Scheme.

A spokesperson for Uisce Eireann said that they appreciate people’s patience while works continue, and that the notice will be lifted as soon as it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, all customers on the Culdaff Public Water Supply are advised to continue boiling their water before use until further notice.

Customers can check if their property is included by visiting www.water.ie and entering their Eircode, or by contacting Uisce Éireann’s 24/7 Customer Care Helpline on 1800 278 278. A map of the affected area is also available to view in the Supply and Service section of water.ie.
