Bishop Donal McKeown has marked his silver jubilee with a special celebration in Derry.
The Bishop of the Diocese of Derry was honoured at a Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral yesterday.
Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council Cllr Ruarí McHugh praised his dedicated and passionate service.
A message from Pope Leo XIV was also read by Fr Paul McCafferty and presented to Bishop McKeown at the beginning of the ceremony:
