Donegal recorded the highest level of daily sunshine hours in Ireland last month.
According to Met Éireann’s climate statement, Malin Head recorded 14.2 hours of sunshine last Wednesday.
The latest climate statement shows sunshine levels were above average at most weather stations across the country in April.
