
Around 500 people took part in the WAAR (Wild Atlantic Adventure Race) this afternoon.
For the second year in a row, Kilmacrennan native Peter O’Donnell was the first competitor across the line at The Banks of Naomh Mhuire in a time of 2 hours, 19 minutes and 45 seconds.
Declan Ferry was 2nd and Patrick Dunbas finished third.
Ali Quinn was the first woman across the line in a time of 2 hours, 50 minutes and 52 seconds.
Geraldine Heery and Ruth Candon were 2nd and third respectively.
