A recent meeting of Letterkenny Milford Municipal District heard a call for funding to install a new bus shelter in Kilmacrennan.
This was raised by the new Mayor of Letterkenny-Milford, Cllr Pauric McGarvey, who said that the dilapidated state of the bus shelter is causing the local tidy towns committee to lose points.
He claimed that it is the National Transport Authority that is responsible for the upkeep.
Cllr McGarvey said the bus shelters need an urgent upgrade for all users.
