
A call has been made for lifeguards in Donegal to be on duty earlier in the year, following multiple incidents during May.
The RNLI, Gardaí, and the Ambulance service have received praise for their work by Bundoran-based Cllr Michael McMahon.
He says that without their intervention, there could have been a fatality.
Cllr McMahon is proposing Lifeguards start work from May 1st through the end of September, and he adds he’ll pursue this at the council level:
