Ireland ranked most expensive in EU for housing, alcohol and energy

Ireland is now the most expensive country in the EU for housing, alcohol, health and power.

Figures from Eurostat also reveal that over a range of goods and services, Ireland is the second-most expensive in the EU.

Overall, Irish prices are 36% higher than the EU average, behind only Denmark.
