Taoiseach to bring Donegal legal service concerns to Justice Minister


The Taoiseach says he will raise concerns about access to legal services in Inishowen with the Minister for Justice.

The issue was highlighted by Lifeline Inishowen, which says only two of the 25 solicitors on the private practitioner panel in Donegal are currently accepting family law referrals.

The matter was raised in the Dáil yesterday by Deputy Charles Ward.

He warned that vulnerable people are being left at greater risk due to limited access to legal supports:
