A car has been seized by Gardaí in Letterkenny, after they detected several road offences.
The vehicle was found to have bald front tyres.
Gardaí later discovered that it had no NCT and the tax had expired over 600 days ago.
Fixed Charge Penalty Notices will now be issued.
Gardaí are warning motorists to never take dangerous risks where road safety is concerned.
