Ireland’s ‘home’ Nations League game vs Israel to be held in Serbia

Ireland’s “home” Nations League match against Israel will take place in Serbia.

The FAI has confirmed the request to move the fixture to a neutral venue over “operational challenges” will be facilitated there.

It’ll now take place at the TSC Arena, which is over 140 kilometres outside of Belgrade, while the away game will be played in Hungary.

There had been strong indications of possible protests had the home match taken place at Landsdowne Road.
