Drugs worth over 700 thousand euro have been seized in Counties Laois and Kildare.
Gardaí have also found 11 military grade guns and ammunition during searches at six locations this weekend.
They included three machine guns and eight pistols, along with silencers, as well as heroin, cocaine and cannabis.
Two men in their 40s have been arrested under Operation Tara and are being held at stations in the Midlands.
