Concerns surrounding erosion on Donegal’s coast have been raised at a recent meeting of Inishowen Municipal District.
Cllr Joy Beard is seeking results from a study on coastal erosion which was carried out from 2020-2024.
However, having been supplied raw data the council need to spend money in order to put the data into context which can take some time.
Cllr Beard says she doesn’t see the point in carrying out monitoring like this if the council does not have the resources to provide analysis:
