Gardaí are advising road users that a road closure is in place at Carrickafoden, Carndonagh following a road traffic collision.
The main Carndonagh to Gleneely road (R244) will remain closed to facilitate the removal of debris and fallen wires.
Local diversions are in place.
HGV and large vehicles travelling between Gleneely and Carndonagh are being asked to divert via the R238 through Culdaff.
