Letterkenny University Hospital was the second most overcrowded hospital in the State this morning, with 40 admitted patients waiting for a bed.
This morning’s INMO data shows 11 of those patients were in the Emergency Department, while the remaining 29 were on trolleys elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded, with 97 patients waiting for a bed.
