Further frustration at delays to active travel works in Donegal Town has been expressed following an incident outside Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala.
This is the latest in a number of incidents where children have been put at risk according to Donegal MD Cathaoirleach Cllr Jimmy Brogan.
He says that the active travel project has been at an advanced stage for months, however, Department of Transport funding through the NTA has not been released.
Cllr Brogan hopes that funding will be available to begin works early next year:
