A public consultation concerning the future of Buncrana is currently under way.
Recently, Donegal County Council published a draft Buncrana Regeneration Strategy & Action Plan which included a number of proposals.
One idea was the pedestrianisation of the town’s Main Street which has caused concern from some people that this was finalised move.
Speaking to Donna-Marie Doherty on today’s Greg Hughes Show, Cllr Jack Murray has assured people that this is simply a document to facilitate discussion and not confirmed plans, he also urged people to engage with the consultation which closes on November 25th.
