A stand off between local residents and a Traveller family in Convoy continues this afternoon.
It’s understood that a traveller family is attempting to occupy a site in the town.
It is claimed that threats against residents have been made today and the gardai have been informed.
Donegal County Council had earlier blocked off the site with concrete bollards.
It’s reported the traveller family claim to own the site but that is being disputed.
Locals say they are now living in fear.
