For the second time in three years, Glenswilly have won the Donegal Senior Football Championship title.
Following on from their 2011 victory, The Dr Maguire Cup made its return to the Glen on Sunday night thanks to the 3-19 to 2-6 final win over Killybegs.
Just 24 hours after captaining Ireland to victory over Australia in the International Rules, Michael Murphy put in a man of the match performance scoring 1-5 while Gary Mc Fadden kicked 0-7 and there was also impressive displays from the likes of Neil Gallagher, Ciaran Bonner and Keelan Mc Fadden.
Glenswilly will now play St. Gall’s of Antrim in the first round of the Ulster Club Championship.
